Our theme therefore is meant to highlight the international nature of our organization, our reliance on the conference as a marketplace to which we bring and exchange our wares, and the role of the conference in building intellectual and social connections. It stresses the role of ideas as potentially exotic, previously unseen, and created by others not precisely like ourselves |

I was looking forward to contesting for a space in the ACR line up, and going to the USA to share my world view with the other delegates. Unfortunately, if I’m going to be forced into being fingerprinted and have a mug shot taken, I’d prefer to do it after I’d committed a crime of my choosing, and not a crime of being foreign born to the USA.
