ANZMAC Sponsorship 2008

I won’t be a track sponsor for ANZMAC 2008. It’s a shame, because I was looking forward to my third year as sponsor. However, the price for 2008 for a single track is AUD$1925 (tax inclusive).
My previous sponsorship saw me buy a track and a room in 2006 for AUD$1500 inclusive, and a track only for NZ$1000 (AUD$855) in 2007. Thus, I’ve sunk $2355 spend over two years for two tracks and a room. To sponsor in 2008, I would have more than doubled the previous year investment (which, was a bargain), and received equal to last years benefits, nothing new, no gain, and really, there’s no incentive to double my outlay for no gain.
Personally? I would like to have continued the sponsorship. Professionally? Doubling the price for no gain in benefits is not a good business decision. Ultimately, I was investing in ANZMAC because I believed in ANZMAC, and because it was a good strategy on the price/benefit ratio on offer in 2006-2007.
