In a whiny voice, Newsweek complains about the Homeland Security agency attending a conference in Hawaii.  Sure, there are probably valid points, but this has to kill the article dead in the water for credible statements.

But that doesn’t mean Hawaii is picking up the tab for the federal officials. U.S. taxpayer dollars will be used to buy the plane tickets, pay the hotel bills and cover the expenses for Cohen and his entourage

You said what now? When did Hawaii drop off the US map?  If Hawaii foots the bill… that’s US taxpayer dollars.

Or did “US” become “Mainland America” at some point in the “War on Beyond Our Shores(TM)”
