The alst 72 hours have involved the mentioning of my Trebuchet List more times that I was honestly expecting for a weekend in Brisbane that didn’t involve a car, security and high speed pursuit. So I’ve had to open up a new section of the site just to track the things I’m not allowing myself to own.
Also, given I rely on the people around me to prohibit me from giving into temptation (easiest way to deal with temptation is to give into it, then you’re no longer tempted), a public register of prohibited objects does have inherent merit.
