Dear Ubercharged.net…

Dear Ubercharged.net

Your advice on works.  The Engineering tips took me from a mid rank player to the my first and only large group leaderboard win all thanks to you.  Notes on EngyBoosting are much appreciated – both as a part time Engineer, and when playing as a wrench+200 extra metal at critical moments of teleporter upgrading.

And as a Pyro by trade, thank you for respecting the class. We’re more than W+M1. We’re W+M2 as well these days (and lighting a scout on fire before pushing it off a bridge is a wonderfully cheap replacement for the signal flare).

The proof, as they say, is in the ubercharged scout batting a sentry into low orbit. Here’s the picture spread to back up the Ubercharged.net How-to messages.

Trained in aggressive engineering by Ubercharged.net, and this resulted…

Exhibit A: MVP Engineer on Goldrush – on attack

Exhibit B: Flanking and Ambushing, Gold Rush, Round 1, Point 2, Position 12: UNDERTHEBOARDWALK

I believe I earned the subsequent sapping, stabbing, bonk, beatings and ubersaw wounds from BLU and RED after that incident.  Thank you

I’d also like to thank you for precautionary advice, such as the 36 Rules of Fighting ( step guide to better play.  That admonishment that the game ain’t done until it’s done?

Never take it for granted that the damn cart is in the box.

Fourth down, and inches, and the quarterback is TOAST!

(True, BLU’s bomb not going off was good news for RED, but hell, how close can you get without winning? THIS CLOSE)

Rule 35 Know when to hold ‘em, when to fold ‘em and when Turtle Power won’t work.

T is for Turtle

That said, for all your good advice, please ignore this exhibit. Taunt kills are not the best plan.

Don't try this at homeTaunt kill on the gates opening on Third Stage Hoodoo.  I don’t know what I was thinking either.

But sometimes, epic stupid pays dividends you just can’t train to achieve.

Thank you Ubercharged.net, you’ve made this Pyro’s life expectancy that few seconds longer, and the opposition’s Rage Quit to Respawn ratio that much funnier.
