I am a child of the 80s. One of my 80s nightmares was to be stuck in the land of the Care Bears. To this day, one of the darkest insults to cross from my mind is utter the words “Care Bears” at someone. (Though, I like the Care Bear Stare! as a weaponised platform. Care Bear versus Pokemon!)
I walked into the lab today to find someone had sketched a teddy bear on the whiteboard with “I WUV YOU” over the top of it.
Freaking Care Bears. They’re everywhere.
